2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Railway Corp. (USA) in a data centre in the European Union (Amsterdam). When you visit, technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) is processed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses is in place with the provider.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics. To count page views we store per visit: page, language, referrer, time, and a daily rotating, irreversible hash of IP address and browser identifier. The IP address itself is not stored for this purpose. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Browsers with "Do Not Track" enabled are not counted.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us via the form or by email, we store your details (name, email address, optional company, message, time, IP address) to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The message is also delivered by email to our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.). Requests are deleted once they are dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Fonts and maps
Fonts are served from our own server. No Google Fonts, map services or embedded third-party content are loaded.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Write to [email protected].
