About us

What holds us together is the measure.

No nails, no glue. One promise that stays the same in every industry, and companies that keep it.

Where the name comes from

Nukha is the old name of Şəki, a city in north-western Azerbaijan and a station on the Silk Road. Its Khan's Palace is known for its windows: şəbəkə, wooden lattices of thousands of pieces and coloured glass, assembled without a single nail. Only the measure holds them.

Nuxa's founder grew up in Azerbaijan and worked in Istanbul and Berlin. The name carries the origin; the method carries the city where the group sits today. Berlin has always been a place where traders found their caravanserai. Nuxa is ours.

The promise

Three things are fixed the moment we name them: the day, the price, the quality. Everything else may change so that these three hold. If a fitter falls ill, another one comes. If a route takes longer, we take a different one. What we do not do: call on Monday to move the appointment we gave on Sunday evening.

Values

Six sentences you can check.

01Waiting costs too.

You see: an answer the same working day. An appointment in the week you call.

0208:00 means 08:00.

You see: a time window we name, and a call if we ever cannot keep it.

03The route changes, the goal does not.

You see: price and day stay, even when we have to replan internally.

04Good work starts with good people.

You see: our own skilled staff, no subcontractors, names on the invoice.

05First we check. Then we hand over.

You see: a handover report with photos before you sign.

06Yesterday's tools give yesterday's promises.

You see: digital scheduling, a quote in minutes, the invoice the same day.

From the founder

One night, one kitchen, one feeling.

Berlin. Just after nine. I am standing in a stranger's kitchen in front of an unopened cabinet box. During the day I worked the reception desk of a hotel; now I am holding the drill. The first thing the man who opens the door says: "I'm surprised you came. The two before you didn't."

That evening I assembled the cabinet. But what I took with me was not only money. It was a feeling. Between what is promised and what is kept lay a gap – and it was as wide as a city.

I have followed that feeling all my life. In Baku, in Istanbul, in Tallinn – the industry was different every time, the feeling always the same: something is needlessly hard, and people are waiting for the simpler version. I find it, I build it, I try it out. If it holds, I let it grow; if it does not, I let it go. Four countries and five languages are there for this: more doors, more of that feeling.

Keeping your word is expensive. For the sick fitter you find a team at midnight; the miscalculated job you finish out of your own pocket. But the arithmetic is simple: every kept promise brings the next job, every broken one costs ten. Trust is the capital that grows slowest and pays most.

Nuxa is built on that arithmetic. Today, the care of buildings; tomorrow, work we have not named yet. The industry changes. The feeling, the arithmetic and the word remain.
